.TROPICAL DEPRESSION MOVING LITTLE...
...FORECAST TO MOVE NORTHWARD AND NORTHEASTWARD OVER THE OPEN ATLANTIC...

Tropical Depression Six is centered as of 11 a.m. EDT about 385 miles (615 km) west of Bermuda. The depression has been drifting northward near 2 mph (4 km/h), and little motion is anticipated today. The cyclone should begin to move generally northward and then northeastward on Wednesday with an increase in forward speed.

Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Some strengthening is expected, and the cyclone is forecast to become a tropical storm later tonight or on Wednesday. When that occurs, it will be named Erin.
